Agreement between Carrefour Greece and Marinopoulos: Dia stores in Greece to be converted to the Carrefour banners
Carrefour and Marinopoulos announce they plan to convert their network of Dia stores in Greece into supermarkets and convenience stores
under the Carrefour banners
Carrefour and Marinopoulos, its longstanding partner in Greece, announce they plan to convert their joint network of 381 Dia stores in Greece (which includes 126 franchisees):
Into supermarkets under the Carrefour Marinopoulos banner
Or into convenience stores under the Carrefour Express banner.
This project is subject to the approval of competition authorities.
Carrefour and Marinopoulos also announce they plan to integrate Dia Hellas (80% owned by Carrefour SA and 20% owned by Marinopoulos group) in their joint company Carrefour Marinopoulos.
