Madrid, 28 October 2020. Amazon Prime customers residing in Bilbao and Alicante can now make their purchases online at La Plaza de DIA through Prime Now and receive their order the same day in two-hour delivery time slots.

This fast delivery service, which is already available in the cities of Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia and Malaga, allows customers of La Plaza de DIA to make purchases on the website primenow.amazon.es or on the Prime Now app and choose the delivery time slot in which they wish to receive it at home.

Received orders will be prepared at the La Plaza de DIA stores located on Avenida Abaro de Portugalete and Calle Cervantes de Sant Joan. Amazon will then manage the collection of the merchandise in the store and its delivery to customers’ homes.

“At DIA, we are committed to the online shopping service as a means of helping our customers save time—time which they can dedicate to other activities. Thanks to our partnership with Amazon, from now on Seville customers of La Plaza de DIA will be able to receive their shopping at home within a two-hour time slot, making their daily lives easier,” states Diego Sebastián de Erice, E-commerce Manager for DIA Spain.

La Plaza de DIA offers Amazon Prime customers a wide variety of products, including fruit and vegetables, refrigerated items, non-perishable products, beauty and personal hygiene items, as well as products for pets and the household.

Amazon Prime customers can select from a range of delivery options, including same-day delivery with no extra cost for orders over €40 and two-hour delivery slots available from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday.
