DIA gives 9 million euro bonus to employees and franchisees for their dedication in the Covid 19 crisis

DIA has decided to give an extraordinary bonus to its employees of its own stores, franchises, warehouses and support teams of 250 euros each.
In total, the company will give 9 million euros to its people at DIA Market, DIA Maxi, Dia & Go, Dia.es, La Plaza de Dia and Clarel in recognition of their dedication and work during the coronavirus crisis.

DIA has a total of 24,000 employees and 2,000 franchisees who employ 6,500 people working in a network of 4,236 stores and 14 warehouses throughout Spain.
“We have spent several weeks of intense work witnessing the extraordinary dedication of our people. We have a dedicated team that has been giving its best with a clear mission: to serve society in these difficult circumstances. I only have words of thanks and admiration”, highlighted Ricardo Álvarez, CEO of DIA Spain.
